Terms and Conditions for Event Ticket Sales
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase, sale, and use of tickets for events organised by Women's Health Institute and Stellar Women's Health (the “Organiser”). By purchasing a ticket, you (the "Customer" or "Attendee") agree to these terms.
1. Ticket Purchase and Payment
All ticket purchases are final once completed, except as specifically provided in this agreement.
Tickets are available for purchase via the Organiser's official website, authorised partners, or third-party platforms (the “Ticketing Platforms”). The Customer is responsible for ensuring they purchase tickets only from official sources.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. Accepted payment methods are listed on the Ticketing Platform.
2. Refund and Cancellation Policy
No Refunds Within 2 Weeks of Event: All ticket sales are non-refundable within two (2) weeks (14 days) of the event date.
Partial Refunds Prior to 2 Weeks of Event: For cancellations made more than two (2) weeks before the event date, a partial refund of 50% of the ticket purchase price will be provided upon request by the Customer.
Event Cancellation or Rescheduling: In the event the Organiser cancels or reschedules an event, ticket holders will be offered a choice of a full refund or transfer of their ticket to the new event date.
Weather and Other Conditions: Tickets are valid for events held rain or shine. The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule or lineup due to weather, safety concerns, or other factors beyond its control.
3. Transfer and Resale of Tickets
Transferable Tickets: Tickets may be used by another party in the event you are unable to attend. Please contact the event host to notify of any transfer of event attendee.
4. Entry and Attendee Conduct
All attendees are required to present a valid ticket upon entry to the event.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove individuals from the event for inappropriate behaviour, or failure to comply with venue policies and security requirements.
5. Health and Safety
The Organiser is not liable for any illness, injury, or medical condition sustained by the Customer while attending the event, except where required by law.
6. Liability
The Organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
The Organiser's liability to the Customer for any damages, losses, or claims shall not exceed the amount of the ticket purchased, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the Organiser.
The Organiser is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the event, including travel or accommodation expenses due to event cancellation or changes.
7. Recording and Use of Likeness
By attending the event, the Customer grants the Organiser the right to record, photograph, and use their image, likeness, and voice for promotional purposes without compensation.
8. Modification of Event Details
The Organiser reserves the right to modify the event schedule, and location as needed. No refunds will be provided for such modifications unless the event is canceled by the Organiser.
9. Privacy
The Organiser collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Western Australia, Australia.
Acceptance
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
